and we are like some guest band
in nice words...
because ms chan wants us to get used to playing in front of an audience...
but...i think the name of 'guest band' doesn't really suit us does it...
our standard is not there yet...
like guest bands are supposed to be better or at the same standard as the band that is the main performer...but we aren't...
sec 1s have joined...
we had sectionals on friday...
and we had to teach the sec 1s the basic of the basics...
and im quite stunned at their standard...no offence srsly...so sorry if i've offended anybody...but...
hais...let's just say they have A LOT to catch up on
scales, chromatics, fingerings, reading notes, warm-ups, rhythm....etc.
really need to start from beginning...
and it's the first time i actually experienced being a senior...with a jnr to teach...
now i think it's really very hard...especially if they dun talk...like you say "you understand?" then they'll be like nodding their head...then the whole sectional practice i was like the only one talking in the conversation....

when ms chan comes...the band will slow down a lot so they can catch up...

all i can say is
disappointing
it's like the snrs have been coming to encourage us, the teachers supporting and etc.
but now
look what happened
the snrs have been trying very hard to keep the glory of our band...
we ruined it
today,a lot of snrs came to give us support and watch us play

#1 we were going to have games after sectionals today then sebby asked 'who is sick' and 'who is really sick?' then evan said SICK IN THE MIND....everyone was laughing again...it was so funny...but den now i retell it like not funny alr...lol...
#2 we had captain's ball as games...then clarinets vs base...
yiming is like super tall...he get the ball u duneed play alr...
then nearing the end of the game, meiling(2c der) say rang ni men section de yi ge ren de dao xing fu...then wanwen joined in the game and said...wo band ni jia yi ge wen...then she say cannot tell anybody she say one...we were laughing

beijing olympic games 2008 opening ceromony was nice (:
i watched the whole thing then the last part all the countries were marching in and i fell asleep watching lol...then li ning some well-known gymnast was the last man to light the super big olympic torch...so nice...they like lifted him up and he pretended to run...around the stadium...
britain has a 14 year old boy taking part in i dunoe wad sport.
anyway...i watched the badminton match...sg against malaysia....malaysia won both rounds...then they switched to tao li swimming...100m butterfly...she lost...lol... but she is fifth i think...not bad alr...is the finals...and she's the youngest and smallest in size.....
the fireworks were nice...there was one part where the fireworks were in the shape of smileys!!!
i heard they spent $60b on this olympics...money well spent i guess...
the performances were very well snchronised...very coordinated...there was one where a few dancers dance while painting on a giant scroll...those who missed the show....too bad...haha...just joking...never watched olympics like this b4...as in like 4 years ago i saw my father watching the sports so i just came and sit and watch but this time i really watch bcos i wanted to...haha

so....today we had youth day celebration...then we had to use the UNCRUSHED recycled cans to form the five olympic rings...actually everyone was supposed to donate 3 butttttt...at home no one drinks canned drinks so my house doesn't have any >< so i couldn't bring any -_-...lol...anyway...the performances were really delayed then we were released late...but most of the performances were really great...except for the year 4 girl's singing...they were blasting their singing...they were like so loud...i shall not comment on their singing....haha...i think everyone has their own comments and i will keep them to myself...then after school i went to vivo to meet my mother and buy the black platform shoes for the band uniform. they were like $34.95 ....so ex...

and i came home and i tried on the full uniform....then i just went on youtube to learn how to tie a tie...lol...then when i watch then it was like so easy >< then the first time i tried the behind part is longer than the front one....haha...then of course i had to tie it again...

like yst...we went to yuhua...combine then sectionals...sectionals was 12 to 1....and i was really slack...i can't even describe how slack we were or rather...i was...we were so slack until chua shixian had to tell us that she thinks seconds very slack...ok...so sorry for tuo-ing kimberly into the water...she was really yong gong and practicing...i dunoe...just so tired...after combined i felt tired...and i kept squeaking...and i just din feel like playing at that moment...ok....maybe this is just an excuse...

i think i really let jennie and the whole of klarinutz down man...im zi ze-ing...DANG...
because after we can go already, the snrs were talking...i think is chua shixian, jennie, sebby, jiayi...and i think maybe zhiyi, gim and wen hui...then is like...ii dunoe...maybe they were discussing about how to make our section improve or who was to be kicked out of the concert...then i had to leave...zoenin oso...bcos i had tuition and in the end i was late for my tuition...but anw...chua shixian said we play some parts for her then the next time she sees us we must be BETTER...and i can't tell u the horrible sounds i made...like squeaking...and the running notes were just ARGH...can only hear like the first and last note?! the middles were all gone...really gonna be a hardcore practicer and mugger...must really really improve...

pissed...i lent my brother oil pastels...48 colours...to bring to school...i have kept it in good condition for like dunoe how many years already...then he comes home...with everything in a jumble...and is like everytime i lend him i have to pack up...the colours are always not in colour order...and guess wad...3 colours are MISSING and so are 4 other parts of 4 OTHER OIL PASTELS are like MISSING...then he said wad his clasmates FORCE him to lend them...and of all people they are guys that can't be trusted i guess..my brother was saying maybe he can find on his classroom floor then i was practically about to scream at him...ON THE FLOOR ROLLING ABOUT STEPPED ON KICKED ABOUT...AND MAYBE EVEN CRUSHED TO POWDER...

went ice-skating today...can't believe it...we skated from 10.58am to 3.30 pm...is like wow...feet were really really numb...haha...anyway...when we went then there were very few ppl...we were the first few people who went...anyway...guan nan kept falling down...so...as she was wearing white, her butt was kinda transparent...lol...then she very funny...shu chin was saying we should time 1 hour and see how many times she fall down...then at 1pm they shaved the ice...so we were having a little break...then yitin and me were like first in the ice...so smooth...i realise that yiting skates really well...she can do the backward curly zig zag thing...and shuchin was desperately trying to learn...actually i also wan to learn...but then...i tried...and i think i keep going in circles or i'm stuck at one spot...>< then at dunoe wad time...two kids came in...a guy and a girl...they learn skating and in proffessional...then they skate together lar...so cool lor...is like the first part is a short dance then they start skating...and they skate really fast...i was skating quite fast too...kept almost falling down but not yet...haha...lol...then we went to take neoprint then is like guan nan decorate one whole pic already...then no time liaos...then somehow she deleted everything -________-'' so no time...because it was counting down from 35...then shu chin anyhow choose something...then we went library...go borrow some books...then take 176 to bt batok..where me yiting and guan nan took 852... guan nan going yiting house...then is like because guan nan's mum came to the ice skating rink to see whether guan nan really go ice skating with us...then her mum brought fried rice...then yiting and guan nan took the only 2 spoons...then yiting was like feeding shu chin and guan nan was feeding me...then dunoe hu say is our mother...then my father was like liheng??? i think shu chin say one...then i was like...then ur father is yong jie...then she say no lor...they separate already...then i said 'oh so sad...ur parents li hun liaos' then everyone was like LOL

today there was the meet the parents session...and i had to leave cca...the teacher session's all TUO 1 lar...wait so long lor...actually i wanted to post on april fool's day der...but now...i dun hav much time...so...i shall talk about that another time...anyway...i went home with my mother on 166 then at fairfield...a lot of boys came on...then they sat in front of us...then reaching clementi that time, they were very pissed with some teacher...then they were saying rv are smart ass and they were stupid ass...then my mother started laughing..and i was like LOL!!! then reach clementi, i walk out...then they saw my uniform...then one guy was like omg!!! tt person is rv one and we were saying they were smartt assess!!!!!!!!!....LOL...they are soooooooo lame lar...

then yesterday...me shu chin and miriam took 61...they were going to west mall...and well...i was going home?! then just before holland, shu chin told us the joke about the wanted(one third) man and two third woman...then miriam couldn't stop laughing...she laugh all the way until i alight lar...-_____________-'' but it was quite funny...when i heard it this morning...i felt bored of it...after laughing about it so much....it isn't funny anymore...haha...

hais...on friday went to plaza sing... the cafe cartel...celebrate billy's birthy...then we like ate dinner there then after that had cake there too...and the candles kept going out...and we din even have to sing him a birthday song...haha...then after that the guys were deciding what to do...they decided to check out the movie theatre. And they wanted to watch semi-pro...a NC 16 show...then they said maybe me and sarah could fake and go in...but then the movie was like quite late...plus...me and sarah can't go home THAT late...the movie start at 9.30??? and most likely end 11++ so...haha...din watch...then we went to arcade...then me and sarah kept playing the japanese drums thing...haha...and my hands were dying because of drumroll...haha...lol...(ppl who went were...aunty priscilla, sarah, me, billy, clement, joseph and james)

Yesterday...i received francis sms about him cutting his hair bald and helping him to see it by going church with him. then i told him i had church service that evening...then he was like stunned -________-'' lol...and at tuition we wrote a compo...haha...about handphones...

today??? i'm stuck with homework...haha...sure can finish one larhs...

for the camp, the girls slept in 4B and 4C classroom joined...btw...is container class, air-con. then it was super freezing...so it is now known as the FREEZER (: me, jennie and zoenin shared 2 sleeping bags. 1 blanket the other as cover...but it was still so cold ><

today...we got our syf result
all i can say is
disappointing
it's like the snrs have been coming to encourage us, the teachers supporting and etc.
but now
look what happened
the snrs have been trying very hard to keep the glory of our band...
we ruined it
today,a lot of snrs came to give us support and watch us play

totally disappointed them
snrs, teachers, ms chan, sebby, ourselves etc.
they say it's the process that's impt and not so much the result

who won't compare the results
people won't know how much effort you put in
how they judge the band is the result isn't it so?

beijing olympic games 2008 opening ceromony was nice (:
i watched the whole thing then the last part all the countries were marching in and i fell asleep watching lol...then li ning some well-known gymnast was the last man to light the super big olympic torch...so nice...they like lifted him up and he pretended to run...around the stadium...
britain has a 14 year old boy taking part in i dunoe wad sport.
anyway...i watched the badminton match...sg against malaysia....malaysia won both rounds...then they switched to tao li swimming...100m butterfly...she lost...lol... but she is fifth i think...not bad alr...is the finals...and she's the youngest and smallest in size.....
the fireworks were nice...there was one part where the fireworks were in the shape of smileys!!!
i heard they spent $60b on this olympics...money well spent i guess...
the performances were very well snchronised...very coordinated...there was one where a few dancers dance while painting on a giant scroll...those who missed the show....too bad...haha...just joking...never watched olympics like this b4...as in like 4 years ago i saw my father watching the sports so i just came and sit and watch but this time i really watch bcos i wanted to...haha

so....today we had youth day celebration...then we had to use the UNCRUSHED recycled cans to form the five olympic rings...actually everyone was supposed to donate 3 butttttt...at home no one drinks canned drinks so my house doesn't have any >< so i couldn't bring any -_-...lol...anyway...the performances were really delayed then we were released late...but most of the performances were really great...except for the year 4 girl's singing...they were blasting their singing...they were like so loud...i shall not comment on their singing....haha...i think everyone has their own comments and i will keep them to myself...then after school i went to vivo to meet my mother and buy the black platform shoes for the band uniform. they were like $34.95 ....so ex...

and i came home and i tried on the full uniform....then i just went on youtube to learn how to tie a tie...lol...then when i watch then it was like so easy >< then the first time i tried the behind part is longer than the front one....haha...then of course i had to tie it again...

today is 4/4/08...ok...DUH...lol
today there was the meet the parents session...and i had to leave cca...the teacher session's all TUO 1 lar...wait so long lor...actually i wanted to post on april fool's day der...but now...i dun hav much time...so...i shall talk about that another time...anyway...i went home with my mother on 166 then at fairfield...a lot of boys came on...then they sat in front of us...then reaching clementi that time, they were very pissed with some teacher...then they were saying rv are smart ass and they were stupid ass...then my mother started laughing..and i was like LOL!!! then reach clementi, i walk out...then they saw my uniform...then one guy was like omg!!! tt person is rv one and we were saying they were smartt assess!!!!!!!!!....LOL...they are soooooooo lame lar...

hais...on friday went to plaza sing... the cafe cartel...celebrate billy's birthy...then we like ate dinner there then after that had cake there too...and the candles kept going out...and we din even have to sing him a birthday song...haha...then after that the guys were deciding what to do...they decided to check out the movie theatre. And they wanted to watch semi-pro...a NC 16 show...then they said maybe me and sarah could fake and go in...but then the movie was like quite late...plus...me and sarah can't go home THAT late...the movie start at 9.30??? and most likely end 11++ so...haha...din watch...then we went to arcade...then me and sarah kept playing the japanese drums thing...haha...and my hands were dying because of drumroll...haha...lol...(ppl who went were...aunty priscilla, sarah, me, billy, clement, joseph and james)

Yesterday...i received francis sms about him cutting his hair bald and helping him to see it by going church with him. then i told him i had church service that evening...then he was like stunned -________-'' lol...and at tuition we wrote a compo...haha...about handphones...

urm...lol??? i dunoe how to start this post but anyways, today there was CCA and i think we were the last CCA to be released...hais...today was supposed to be a combine...but then today ms chan didn't come and soooooooooo...we had sectionals instead...and sebby was saying that his goal was to get a perfect olympiada...so...after that we played march blue sky...there was 1 part where we were playing melody...then after that chua shixian said that must enjoy then she say we should sway...then we were swaying and it ended up like very messy...so in the end we didn't have to sway...then bcos liangshixian was taking a short break, then jennie and jiayi walk off, there is no one between me, zoenin and evan...so...chua shixian said that we cannot be together...then sebastian came...then he was like playing beside me...then for no reason, he walked away saying something about giving up...then he walked back again...lol...but it was quite funny...then is like we were doing warups...then we were doing chromatics...so sebby wanted to check on all of the sec 2's then we had to play like 6 times...so that he can see whether we playing correct or not...then i dunoe wad he said...as in...i forgot...lol...tts all for today (:

today we stayed back to do some chinese calligraphy thingy...and we played....and it was fun...me.miriam,peijia and tracy... haha...very funny...anyway...miriam trashed hers....and i brought mine home...so now i have 1 on the main door, one on my door and one on the master bedroom's door...still hav the da ji da li...dunoe put where...i got a chun the main door got a fu and the master bedroom got a cai....then for peijia's cai she put money face there...SO FUNNY...hahahahaha....LOL....IT WAS REALLY VERY FUNNY...hahahahahaha....

OKOK...so I CHANGED MY BLOGSKIN...I'm so -____-'' i guess...a change of coulour eh...from black n pink to white n pink...i found this in a rush...so yea...quite pinky...i think it is ok lor...but maybe if i have time then i shall find ANOTHER...bcos i was getting quite bored from using the same old blogskin...the black 1 about...CAN MY SONATA REACH YOUR HEART...and i realised tt in my first post, i was actually being VERY MEAN...and i'm sorry...i was just SO FUSTRATED...nvm...clarinet THEORY AND PRACTICAL TEST coming up soon...i hope i do ok...and not fail...oh no...SEBASTIAN IS SCARY...TESTS ARE SCARY...later we fail then we go back join the sec 1's then they will like kan bu qi wo men like that...then is like...this year band is performing at ISTANA on NATIONAL DAY...AND i hope i can go...so...wish me all the best for those who even READ my blog...hais...LOL...
