Back to the land of solid shampoo...
It's been a week since I got back and yet it feels like so much has already happened. Ok to be fair, a lot did happen because of all the assignments and tests that were due in the last week. In case you're wondering why it's "solid" shampoo, it's because the weather's so cold now the shampoo becomes thicker and doesn't flow easily out of the bottle. Anyway, it's been a very packed week and I've pretty much wasted my entire weekend convincing myself that now I can chill but next week, starting tomorrow, it's going to be studying time, no more procrastination. Have to start getting organised and prepared.
On another note, really getting old here..sleeping earlier and earlier and feeling tired after it hits 9pm D: what is wrong with me?!! Lol just over a week ago I was sleeping past 12 and waking up around 7 :X must be the cold...if not I'm just getting old or something hahahahha. Alright good night everyone (:

Finally got my hair cut today. Blew a big hole in the pocket because I was stupid enough to go without checking how much it is first..at least I'm quite happy with the cut and colour. Guess I'm not going to cut my hair for another 2 years haha. It was the same price as when I first cut and dyed my hair in melbs. It's just that I thought it would be cheaper considering it is sg..but I guess I thought wrong.

Been feeling so uneasy lately just because of all the crap that uni is throwing at us. Have been waking up at 4-5am feeling itchy because of the stupid bed bugs and now I have to worry about due dates and all the work I have to get done D: But this trip was really worth it though, because I really don't know when I'll be able to come back like this for such an extended period of time and have friends who have time to go out with me. The future is scary. Because it is the unknown.

The next few days are all busy busy busy and the days are fully packed. It's been a really good trip this time, honestly. Got to eat most of the food I wanted to eat(snacks included), saw a lot of the people I wanted to see, will even manage to see a few relatives. The only bad things about this trip are the bedbugs...and also all the uni work I have to do. Can't imagine what would happen if I didn't have these 3 weeks off as some other people do. These days, it's normal for me to wake up early in the morning scratching and trying to find some cream to put on the rash/bites. Having a swollen finger is no longer a new thing D: Finally consented to going to the doctor with my grandma tomorrow so I can get some..more cream I guess, nothing much the doctor can give me really..ohwell, let's just hope things go well. I think my parents will be shocked when I go back. Even I am pretty shocked. Like I knew there was this problem, but in the past, it was never this serious, and i was never bitten this much D: The good thing, is that it's freezing in melbourne now so when I go back I can just throw on a coat and hide it all haha, hide my chicken-pox-like bite marks LOL. The next time I come back..will have to carefully consider where I'm sleeping at. Not going to willingly get attacked so viciously by these..blood-suckers. Alright, it's back to work, durian puffs (from Goodwood Park Hotel!) and my swollen finger hahaha.

Itching issue
Sunday, May 17, 201512:16 PM

I took a nice trip down memory lane yesterday just by taking one bus but I'll blog about it later because there's one thing itching at the back of my mind. Literally.

Where I'm staying now, there're bed bugs. It's been years yet they can't be got rid of. I've been telling some of my friends that I've come back and donated so much blood. To uninvited guests. There isn't an area that hasn't been bitten. On my hands, arms, feet, legs, shoulders, back, neck and even my face. There is seriously no end to this until I go back to my bedbug free home and then maybe, just maybe I can sleep in peace. Been waking up at 4am for the past few days because of the crazy itching. I don't know why it is always 4am..maybe because they bite me around that time(eff these buggers). I can't wear shorts or short sleeved shirts even, because my skin looks..diseased. All because of these annoying bugs that can't be killed because their hiding place is so freaking good. How many bugs know to hide in the cracks of the floor and reproduce their hundreds of eggs. I must have fed a good part of the colony now..the other day when they bit my hand, my whole hand was swollen and even my fingers weren't spared. It's to the point, I rather somewhere pay money to get rid of the bugs than to buy me a treat. Any day man, any day. And the worst part is, my allergic reaction to the bugs saliva is crazy!! It's like my immune system has gone nuts, and I'm literally getting blisters where the bites are. I wore shoes over the bites last night and tada, I have gained myself 4 blisters on my feet where the bloody bugs bit me - pun intended. Even covering myself all over(tights, socks, shirt, hoodie, cardigan covering my face and hands in pockets) hasn't saved me. If this hasn't, then I don't know what else I can do to stop getting bitten other than moving elsewhere. 3 years ago, I did get bites. But the extent of those bites compared to now is nothing. It's like they've gone crazy and made me go crazy in the process of it too. Every time I wake up I check for new bites. It is that bad. I'm sure anyone who has had bedbugs can relate. My skin is all unnaturally lumpy and red and is just so unsightly overall. Maybe it's a sin for not having much hair on my arms and legs. Maybe I should just move to someone else's house until my flight back. It's not just the unsightliness of the bites but also the ITCHING. Mosquito bites cannot compare man, simply because bed bugs bite in clusters and mosquito bites are individual. Multiple bites in the same area = super itchy thus super swollen. Complete eradication is definitely easier said than done...

It's been 3 full days since I've been back and it's been good so far.
This time I'm back, it's not so much to go shopping but to spend time with people who mean something to me because who knows when I will see them next ):
In 3 short years, Singapore has changed so much. Yet nothing has changed between me and these people. The next time I come back, will I still be able to recognise the home I grew up in?

Once I got to my cousins/grandma's house, went to take a shower and stepped out in a puddle of sweat. Could't exactly wear shorts to PKC so I wore jeans instead and boy..I think that has caused me to adapt to the weather way quicker than I thought I would. It's still humid but somehow not as humid as I remember from my last trip. Not sweating as much now..or so I think. It's been good so far, but I've been bitten like crazy by uninvited guests lurking in the cracks of the bedroom floor. It's not even a new problem. It's such an old problem and so much money has been spent trying to get rid of them but they still persist. With my attractive new yummy blood, of course I'm the new target. There isn't a place that hasn't been bitten. Feet, legs, thighs, arms, wrists, hands, fingers, toes, neck, face, back. Basically you name it and I have at least 1 bite there. Been having a really bad allergic reaction to them though. It's so swollen that I couldn't take it and went to get hydrocortisone cream today. Way to itchy and inflamed to just leave it like I usually do. It's to the point I look a bit diseased LOL. What a way to start this trip huh.

Anyway, I take back what I said about the shopping LOL. Spent more than $100 altogether today :X But it was worth it I say. You can't get this type of shopping in Australia..even with sales and whatnot. Oh and especially the korean cosmetics like innisfree and etude house. Even the face shop in Australia has products that are..outdated and are not even sold in Australian stores :OOO
Yea...today was a fruitful shopping day so..that was good haha.
